Thanks for another successful Bharatanatyam recital this year. It was an absolute joy to watch all the kids showcase their hardwork. The gracefulness, expressions, and smiles on their faces were truly a treat to behold. The music selections for each piece were perfectly suited to the season, adding so much charm to the performances. It was especially inspiring to see how closely you watched each performer, offering subtle yet impactful eye contact and tips to enhance their presentation. As a parent, it's a privilege to witness your dedication and the magic it brings out in the children.

This year's highlight was undoubtedly the live song and dance collaboration with Akshaya Music Academy, which turned out to be extraordinary. Your duet performance with your sister was absolutely mesmerizing, and the advanced senior dancers delivered an awe-inspiring act. Special mention to Paru and Akshara for their bold and impressive solo performances—they were simply fantastic! Thank you for another incredible event this year. Look forward to many more wonderful recitals in the future.

Thanks for the wonderful Arangetram... Our guru is more than just a dance teacher, she truly lives and breathes this art. Her passion for Bharatanatyam is so genuine, and what makes it even more special is her dream of passing it on to kids growing up here in the U.S. She wants the next generation to not just learn the steps, but to feel deeply connected to the culture behind them. Her choreography is always beautiful and meaningful, but also refreshing. One of the things that makes her work so unique is how she thoughtfully blends elements of our traditional Badaga dance (unique ancient tribal dance) into classical Bharatanatyam. It's a rare combination, done with so much care and respect for both styles, and it feels exciting every time we see it. And something I absolutely love, she encourages singer-dancers to sing while dancing. It's not common, but it brings a whole different energy to the stage. It makes the performance feel full of voice, soul, and emotion. We are just so lucky to be learning from someone who teaches with so much love, purpose, and a deep sense of tradition.
